Network Engineer

Job overview:

Under supervision, candidate will be responsible for the following:

Porting designs setup from standalone servers to cloud servers, which can leverage edge computing for various applications, such as more efficient and intelligent sensing and actuation of devices and systems, more reliable and secure communication and networking, more advanced and customized analytics and optimization. Support the engineering team to migrate to cloud computing resources. IT development using coding and scripts to facilitate the migration and manage the availability and performance of cloud resources while maintaining low cost of operation.

Qualifications:

• Requires Bachelor’s degree, foreign academic equivalent or combination of education & experience equivalent to Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Requires 2 years of experience in job offered or as a Network and System Administrator, Systems Engineer, or a related field.
• Required experience must include experience in AWS, VMWare Workstation, Ansible, Python, BGP, VPN, SolarWinds, Wireshark, Firewall, Linux, HP ProLiant Servers, Dell EMC PowerEdge Servers, Cisco Switches & Routers.
• Requires relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout the United States.

Salary:

Salary: $186,056 per year
